Faith is a journey that takes a lifetime. With every new experience we grow in amazing ways, and deepen our understanding of the reality of God's presence with us. We are committed to growing in faith because being church isn't just reserved for Sunday morning worship. We encourage every participant in the life of our congregations to move beyond the worship experience and actively engage with one of our growth opportunities on a constant basis throughout the year.

ucc 101

New participants are invited to engage in this 6-week online small group discussion where we will explore the origins of the United Church of Christ, our congregational histories, our individual spiritual gifts, and the various ways we can participate in the future of the church together. These groups will meet electronically twice each year. Check out the newsletters and weekly bulletins for an upcoming group!

@ Work in the neighborhood

angels in the attic

This team of dedicated servants comes together on a monthly basis to sew blankets and hats that are distributed to those in need (especially kids) throughout the Wichita area. If you've got a gift for sewing (or want to learn), come and share your creativity to make someone's life a little warmer!

neighborhood lunches

On the 1st Thursday of every month this team cooks a homemade meal to share with the neighborhood, our seniors, and anyone else who wants to engage in great conversation

around a table filled with good food.

family fun day

Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Pilgrim Church for a hot breakfast, crafts, activities, and music.

We offer three on-site small group studies at Fairmount Church each year. An Advent Study, a Lenten Study, and a Summer Study.

Together we study books by popular authors that pertain to these seasons of life in the Christian calendar.

As each study is organized, it will be announced in monthly newsletters and weekly bulletins.
