These documents govern our congregational life together. They lay out the ministries of the Board and Pastoral Relations Team, outline what membership looks like, and provide a roadmap for how the church is organized and functions in community.
The Church Board oversees governance and operation of the congregation. They function on a consensus model and coordinate with staff on operational concerns and long-term planning in the life of the church. Board members are elected to a 15-month term and the Board elects its own officers. Board members must be active members of the congregation who have a proven track record of giving their time, talents, and treasure on behalf of the work of the congregation.
The Pastoral Relations Team is the confidential liaison between the congregation and the Pastoral Office. They serve as a sounding board to the Pastor and a resource to the whole body. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, we invite you to take a look at their guidebook. Participants on this Team are elected to a 15-month term, meet as necessary, and must be active members of the congregation.
We approved the 2021 budget on by congregational vote on February 1, 2021.
